How to verify if a document is certified?

1. Go to your profile and click on “Certificate Content”
2. Add the content to be verified via “Drag & Drop the file to be checked”
3. Click “Check” to start the verification process
   • Positive Match – The content has been certified by Certiphy.io, and the certificate is displayed
   • Negative Match – No matching certificate is found

How to view certificates in my portfolio?

Log into your account and go to your portfolio via the dedicated icon. You will see a list of your certificates, including their name, description, and traceability information.
Click on a certificate to view detailed information, such as its unique hash and ownership address.

 Can I edit a certificate after creating it?

No, once a certificate is created, it is immutable, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of the content. If you modify the content, you will need to create a new certificate.

2. Select the certificate you want to transfer
3. Enter the recipient’s “Owned by” ID
4. Confirm the transfer – The recipient will receive the certificate and can accept or decline it

How to accept or decline a transferred certificate?

1. Log into your Certiphy.io account
2. Go to the “Pending Certificates” section
3. Review the certificates awaiting your action:

• To accept, click “Add to Portfolio” – The certificate will be added to your portfolio
• To decline, click “Reject” – The certificate will be deleted and won’t appear in your portfolio

How to add a transferred certificate to my portfolio?

To add a transferred certificate to your portfolio:

1. Go to “Pending Certificates”
2. Select the certificate you want to add
3. Click “Add to Portfolio” – The certificate will be automatically added to your portfolio

What happens if I decline a transferred certificate?

A declined certificate will not be added to your portfolio or linked to your profile. This ensures that you only receive transfers you approve.

What should I do If I don’t recognize a pending transfer certificate?

Click “Reject” to decline the certificate.

Where are my certified data stored?

 What happens if I delete my account? Will my data also be deleted?

• All your personal data and certificates will be deleted from our servers
• However, the digital fingerprints (hashes) recorded on the blockchain will remain immutable, as they are stored in a decentralized public ledger. This ensures that your certificates remain verifiable even after account deletion

What should I do if I suspect a data breach?

 Can an original file be recreated from its digital fingerprint (Hash) on Certiphy.io?

No, it is impossible to recreate a file from its digital fingerprint (hash).

• The hash functions like a fingerprint – it identifies a file without revealing its content.
